1.  How are my adult stem cells sent to your laboratory?
Our health care professional who collects your adult peripheral blood on your behalf will assist you or you will yourself use an over night expediting or courier delivery service to transport your blood specimen to our laboratory within the 36-48 hour delivery services requirement.

 

2.  How long will my stem cells remain viable in the kit after collection?
Studies have shown that stem cells can remain viable for up to 36 to 48 hours after the collection takes place.

 

3.  Do the stem cells have to be kept at room temperature before shipping?
Yes.  Stem cells prefer room temperature and should never be exposed to extreme temperatures.  Your stem cell specimen will be kept at room temperature prior to shipment to our laboratory for processing, testing, cryopreservation and storage.
